Justin Shanken

Chief Executive Officer

Justin Shanken serves as the CEO and founder of Black Breach, an award-winning cybersecurity firm providing next-generation services to protect its clients from cyber criminals. He has over 23 years of experience in the global intelligence and security space.

Before starting Black Breach, he was a Counterintelligence Special Agent in the US Army and the Department of Defense, where he protected America’s cleared defense contractor industries. He has subject matter expertise in cyber threat intelligence, counterintelligence, global risk management, insider threat, supply chain risk management, and corporate security. Justin Shanken has been featured in several publications and hundreds of speaking events.

Justin was awarded the University of Georgia’s prestigious “Alumni 40 under 40” award in 2015.

Jeff Browning

Chief Operating Officer

Jeff Browning serves as the Chief Operating Officer (COO) for Black Breach. Jeff leverages his 30+ years of experience as a software executive, leading and transforming product development organizations to achieve efficient, effective, sustainable delivery of cybersecurity products and services.

During his distinguished career, Jeff has held the following positions:
Chief Technology Officer, Alogent
Chief Product Officer, Optima
Director of IBM Commerce Marketing Development
Senior Vice President, Silverpop
Senior Vice President, Secureworks

Jeff utilizes his extensive cybersecurity experience leading and transforming product development organizations to achieve efficient, effective, sustainable delivery of products and services. 

Jeff has extensive SaaS and Agile delivery experience, building and leading security teams ranging from businesses generating $0-$300M+ in revenue.

Daniel Greer

Chief Financial Officer

Daniel Greer serves as the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for Black Breach. Since joining the team, he has further established the company's long-term financial management strategy, contributing to the company's rapid growth and global development strategy.

Daniel has 19 years of experience in business, spanning multiple industries, including technology, consulting, manufacturing, and engineering. Prior to joining Black Breach, he served as the Global Director of Compensation for a multinational technology company. In this role, he collaborated with company executives, human resources, finance, and business operations on financial modeling, budgeting, compliance, and long-term strategy.

Daniel is an avid learner and, outside of work, has taught himself statistics, how to build servers, and woodworking.
